Glyco-gene expression analysis plays a crucial role in understanding the molecular mechanisms of genome regulation. CD BioGlyco offers a customized glycoinformatics-assisted glyco-gene expression analysis service by combining multiple approaches. We have a professional glycoinformatics informatics team responsible for glyco-gene expression data analysis projects.
Based on our extensive experience in Transcriptomics Analysis and Glycomics Analysis, we customize our solutions to meet specific client requirements. We identify differentially expressed genes associated with the glycosylation process by comparing differences in glyco-gene expression levels under different conditions to support studies of various physiological and pathological processes. Combining various analytical techniques and algorithms, our service includes the following:
Microarrays are used for differential gene expression analysis because of their advantages of rapidity, accuracy, sensitivity, and parallel detection. We use microarrays to detect glyco-gene expression levels in different samples. Besides, there are other techniques such as transcriptome sequencing to analyze glyco-gene expression levels.
Glyco-gene expression detection and quantitative analysis: Bioinformatics is a very powerful tool in the field of glycomics and genomics. We perform glyco-gene expression differential analysis of experimentally generated data by bioinformatics methods. This analysis includes the following:
We quantify the expression levels of individual genes and transcripts.
Specific glyco-genes that are differentially expressed between samples are identified.
We perform PCA analysis and cluster analysis on the glyco-gene expression data to assess the variability between samples in different groups and the reproducibility of samples within groups, and to understand the changes of differentially expressed genes in samples under different conditions.
We utilize multiple glyco-gene function databases to cluster multiple glyco-genes with different functions into different biological pathways. Glyco-gene function enrichment analysis is not only used to understand the main biological functions exercised by differentially expressed glyco-genes, but it is also helpful for subsequent glycosylation analysis.
We use specific software analysis to predict interaction network analysis to understand the functional associations between each glyco-gene, leading to a better understanding of the glycosylation pathway.
Our services apply to the following:

Results: In this study, two genes, E6 and E7, were partially silenced in HeLa cells, and differential gene expression was examined to determine the effect of oncoproteins E6 and E7 on host glycogene expression. Finally, Altered glycogene was identified and glycogene expression levels were quantified by microarray expression analysis. Some of these genes are involved in O-glycan antigen and Notch proteins-related glycosylation. This study demonstrates that oncoproteins E6 and E7 can alter glycogene expression and lay the foundation for cervical cancer-related research.
