Calcium Gluconate Analysis Service

Calcium Gluconate Analysis Service

Your Trusted Calcium Gluconate Analysis Partner

Calcium gluconate is a calcium D-gluconate salt monohydrate that consists of gluconic acid combined with calcium ions. Calcium gluconate has the effect of replenishing calcium ions and can be administered orally and intravenously. Therefore, it is widely used in the food industry and clinical therapy. CD BioGlyco provides many forms of calcium gluconate analysis services including calcium gluconate oral solution, calcium gluconate tablets, calcium gluconate buccal tablets, calcium gluconate injection, and calcium gluconate granules. Moreover, we provide reliable Ferrous GIuconate Analysis, Calcium Gluconate and Sodium Chloride Injection Analysis, Zinc Gluconate Analysis, Chlorhexidine Gluconate Analysis, and Copper Gluconate Analysis.

Calcium Gluconate Analysis Service at CD BioGlyco

  • Identification
Our research team has advanced technologies that quickly identify various indicators of calcium gluconates.
    • Sulfate
    • Heavy metal
    • Arsenic salt
    • Sucrose
    • Clarity
    • pH
    • Bacterial endotoxin
    • Reducing sugar
    • Relative density
    • Dissolution rate
    • Chloride
    • Magnesium salt
  • Molecular conformational analysis
We use nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) to characterize the molecular conformation of calcium gluconate. Our researchers analyze the steric organization of calcium gluconate in aqueous solution by NMR. At the same time, EPR is used to compare the positions of paramagnetic centers on different carbon atoms with the spectral components.
  • Content and bacterial endotoxin analysis
For the determination of calcium gluconate content, we mainly provide direct titration, potentiometric titration, and high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) analysis.
For the determination of bacterial endotoxin in calcium gluconate injection, we not only provide a common gelation method and photometric but also provide a micro-kinetic chromogenic analysis service. Micro-kinetic chromogenic operation is more convenient and fast and realizes quantitative detection.

Results: In this study, the molecular conformation of calcium gluconate was analyzed using NMR. After 1H NMR analysis, it was found that the conformation of calcium gluconate molecule undergoes a transition to form intermolecular hydrogen bonds at increasing concentrations of aqueous solution. The 2D COSY NMR spectrum shows various cross peaks of varying intensity. Among them, the strong cross peaks of neighboring protons mainly indicate a better sawtooth conformation and the relatively weak cross peaks indicate the formation of a ring conformation.
