Sodium Gluconate Analysis Service

Sodium Gluconate Analysis Service

Quality Sodium Gluconate Analysis Without Compromise

Sodium gluconate is the sodium salt of gluconic acid, comprising sodium ions and gluconic acid. It is a naturally occurring polyhydroxy acid with excellent solubility and stability and finds extensive applications in the fields of food, medicine, and construction materials. Leveraging our extensive expertise in Pharmaceutical Analysis, CD BioGlyco offers comprehensive and dependable sodium gluconate analysis services to assist our clients in evaluating the quality and diverse drug-related properties of sodium gluconate.

  • We analyze the chemical composition of sodium gluconate by using mass spectrometry, infrared spectroscopy, and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) to determine its molecular structure. To detect impurities and purity of sodium gluconate samples, high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) is utilized.
  • We evaluate the solubility properties of sodium gluconate by determining its solubility in different solvents. Additionally, we conduct thermal analysis on sodium gluconate using techniques such as differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), to evaluate its thermal stability.
  • To facilitate a comprehensive understanding of your sodium gluconate samples, we provide a specialized crystal structure and morphology determination service. This entails an in-depth analysis of intricate details utilizing advanced techniques such as X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM).
  • Besides, we provide sodium gluconate pharmacokinetic analysis and toxicology assessment services. Our pharmacokinetic analysis service involves studying the metabolic pathway, drug concentration-time curve, and other relevant parameters of sodium gluconate in organisms through in vivo and ex vivo experiments. Additionally, we offer comprehensive evaluations of the toxicity and safety profile of sodium gluconate using cytotoxicity assays, acute toxicity studies in mice, and chronic toxicity assessments.

Results: This article focuses on the NMR spectra of sodium sodium gluconate solutions. The researchers found that the conformation of sodium gluconate in aqueous solution remained unchanged over the concentration range studied, with the presence of hydrogen bonding between sodium gluconate and water as well as the formation of aggregates. The flattened, jagged structure of sodium gluconate molecules in water was confirmed by ID 13C spectroscopy and 2D NMR spectroscopy. By fitting the theoretical spectrum to the experimental spectrum, the researchers were able to find the dihedral angle of the sodium gluconate molecule fairly accurately, and based on this, mapped its three-dimensional structure in an aqueous solution. In addition, interactions between sodium gluconate and calcium gluconate have been found through the 1H NMR spectra of their mixtures. These findings are important for further theoretical and experimental studies of gluconate hydrochloride.
