Methods for Glycoprotein Identification
The glycosylation array prints the capture antibody (the glycosylation of the capture antibody has been removed) on a glass slide, allowing researchers to quickly and effectively obtain the glycosylation curve in the sample. The detection principle of our slide array is similar to the sandwich method. The pre-blocked slide array is hybridized with the sample and washed to remove unbound proteins. The biotin-labeled lectin is then incubated with the array to bind to the glycan of the captured target protein and then labeled with a streptavidin-conjugated fluorescent dye. Finally, laser fluorescence scanning is used to visualize the signal to identify glycoproteins present in the sample. Biological samples from experimental subjects contain complex glycosylation-modified protein components. How to obtain glycosylated protein profiles of samples quickly and efficiently has become the focus of scientific researchers. In high-throughput analysis methods, compared to methods that can resolve detailed structures such as mass spectrometry, arrays have many advantages, such as a small sample size, no expensive equipment, and a short detection cycle.
Applications of Glycome Array
