  • Potency: We perform potency determination by ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy (UV-Vis). Calculated as a dried product, each 1g contains not less than 120 units or 1200 units of protease activity.

Results: In this study, the effects of ultrafine carbon black (UFCB) and Pb-UFCB on the structure and function of pepsin were examined by UV-Vis and circular dichroism. The results showed that UFCB and Pb-UFCB induced dynamic bursting of pepsin, which affected both its structure and function. This study provides an effective method and data support for the correlation analysis of pepsin in saccharated pepsin.
