Properties
Description
The conjugate pentafluorophenyl-PEG-mannose, or mannose-PEG-pentafluorophenyl, is engineered for studies by grafting mannose onto a 2 kDa PEG backbone with a pentafluorophenyl unit. This assembly combines mannose's recognition, PEG's solubility, and pentafluorophenyl's reactivity.
Molecular Weight
PEG: 2 kDa
Functional Group
Pentafluorophenyl
Form
Solid or viscous liquid
Impurities
No visible impurities to the naked eye.
Solubility
This product is soluble in most organic solvents, such as DCM, DMF, DMSO, and THF, and exhibits excellent solubility in water.
Applications
Mannose-PEG-pentafluorophenyl can be used to implement FRET-based conformational studies using dansyl-tryptophan quenching pairs.
