Description
Androsin is a phenol glucoside that has diverse biological activities. It is active against the bacteria S. aureus, S. epidermidis, P. aeruginosav, E. cloacae, K. pneumoniae, and E. coli and the fungi C. albicans, C. tropicalis, and C. glabrata. Androsin inhibits bronchial obstruction in a guinea pig model of asthma induced by ovalbumin or platelet-activating factor (PAF). This product can be used for research in the fields of medicine and pharmacy.
