Applications
Pectin can be made into nanoparticles that can be used as carriers for active molecules.Pectin is also an adsorbent, a broad-spectrum antimicrobial that binds bacterial toxins and other irritants in the intestinal mucous membranes, soothing irritated mucous membranes.
