Description

α1-3,4,6 Galactosidase is a universally specific exoglycosidase that hydrolyzes terminal nonreducing α1-3, α1-4, and α1-6-linked galactose residues in oligosaccharides.

Unit Definition

One unit will release 1 nmol of reducing sugar from Galα1-3Galβ1-4Gal per hour at 37°C at pH 5.5.
