Description

This custom synthetic formulation features 20:0 PC liposomes composed exclusively of 1,2-dieicosanoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine, a long-chain saturated lipid. The vesicular structure self-assembles into an exceptionally rigid single-lipid bilayer profile with a high main phase transition temperature of approximately 64-66ºC. This long-chain saturated composition forms a tightly packed, dense gel-phase bilayer matrix at ambient temperature, which provides maximum physical resistance against water penetration and completely restricts the passive leakage of encapsulated markers. The resulting single-component vesicles exhibit precise chemical purity, a highly narrow size distribution profile, and predictable rigid packing characteristics under controlled laboratory settings.
