Description
This custom synthetic formulation features 22:0 PC liposomes composed exclusively of dibehenoylphosphatidylcholine (DBPC), a long-chain saturated lipid. The vesicular structure self-assembles into an exceptionally rigid single-lipid bilayer profile with a high main phase transition temperature of approximately 75ºC. This long-chain saturated composition forms a tightly packed, dense gel-phase bilayer matrix at ambient temperature, which provides maximum physical resistance against water penetration and completely restricts the passive leakage of encapsulated markers.
