Description

This product features alpha hydroxy acid liposomes prepared with stable lipid bilayers to encapsulate small hydrophilic organic carboxylic acids. The vesicle architecture utilizes a tightly packed lipid bilayer composed of high-purity lecithin and cholesterol to minimize passive water penetration and organic acid leakage across the membrane boundary. The water-soluble alpha hydroxy acids (such as glycolic or lactic acid) are locked entirely within the internal aqueous reservoir and interfacial zones of the spherical vesicles. This configuration regulates the diffusion of the organic acids and protects the lipid shell from rapid acid-induced hydrolysis under controlled laboratory conditions.
