Description
Amino-functionalized mesoporous SiO2-coated Ag nanoparticles consist of a silver core providing plasmonic properties, surrounded by an amine-modified mesoporous silica shell. The shell protects the silver from oxidation while the amine groups facilitate the capture of analytes near the plasmonic surface.
