Description

This biomimetic proteoliposome material features anionic lipid vesicles encapsulating recombinant 6-phosphofructo-2-kinase/fructose-2,6-biphosphatase 3 protein. The macromolecular architecture incorporates the active recombinant enzyme protein 6-phosphofructo-2-kinase/fructose-2,6-biphosphatase 3 (PFKFB3) entirely within the central aqueous reservoir of an anionic phospholipid bilayer shell (incorporating phosphatidylserine or phosphatidylglycerol fractions). This specialized layout coordinates a highly uniform negative surface charge topography and strong electrostatic repulsive forces with a protective vesicle shell, completely preventing macromolecular self-aggregation or rapid enzyme denaturation in open laboratory media.
