Description

This product consists of alpha-asarone proliposomes formulated as a solid-state dry powder matrix to enhance the dispersion of a hydrophobic phenylpropanoid component. The structure is composed of microcrystalline sugar or polyol carriers that support a uniform layer of dehydrated lipids and the active compound alpha-asarone (α-asarone). This dry configuration completely prevents chemical degradation and crystallization during extended laboratory storage. Upon exposure to an aqueous phase, the solid matrix dissolves immediately, allowing the lipid components to spontaneously form small liposomal vesicles enclosing the phenylpropanoid.
