Description

This specialized responsive formulation features adenosine triphosphate sensitive liposomes engineered with a chemically triggered disassembly mechanism. The internal structure incorporates a model cargo within a responsive bilayer composed of phospholipids mixed with adenosine triphosphate (ATP) responsive linkers or aptamer conjugates. Upon entering a laboratory environment containing free adenosine triphosphate molecules, the responsive linkages undergo an immediate conformational phase remodeling, altering the membrane packing configuration and triggering membrane destabilization and cargo liberation. This configuration allows for the precise study of stimulus-triggered mass transport phenomena and release kinetics in cell-free analytical frameworks.
