Description

The structural matrix incorporates the hydrophobic trihydroxyflavone baicalein directly into the hydrocarbon core of a phospholipid bilayer, while the outer surface is integrated with polyethylene glycol polymer-lipid conjugates to establish a long-circulating layout. The integration of these specialized polymer-lipid conjugates modifies membrane curvature and introduces a dense hydrophilic steric shield on the outer boundary. This configuration prevents physical vesicle aggregation and controls the passive crystallization of the flavone cargo in open aqueous suspension.
