Description

This product consists of berberine hydrochloride proliposomes formulated as a solid-state dry powder precursor matrix. The structure is composed of microcrystalline carriers that support a uniform layer of dehydrated lipids and the alkaloid salt berberine hydrochloride. This dry configuration prevents premature drug leakage and crystallization during extended laboratory storage. Upon contact with an aqueous buffer, the solid matrix dissolves instantly, allowing the lipid molecules to spontaneously form small, uniform liposomal vesicles enclosing the alkaloid.
