Description

This standardized reference dispersion features empty zeolitic imidazolate framework-8 nanostructures suspended in a stable liquid matrix. The sub-micron architecture consists of porous crystalline zeolitic imidazolate framework-8 (ZIF-8) metal-organic coordination networks derived from zinc ions and 2-methylimidazole, optimized to a size range of 50 to 100 nanometers (50-100nm) without containing encapsulated active agents. This crystalline matrix provides a highly consistent inorganic coordination standard that exhibits distinct crystallographic porosity profiles while remaining resistant to rapid self-aggregation under ambient laboratory testing conditions.
