Description

This specialized formulation features single-component anionic vesicles composed of high-purity porcine brain phosphatidylserine (Brain PS). The vesicular architecture self-assembles into a highly fluid lipid bilayer matrix at room temperature that presents a strongly negative surface charge profile due to the carboxyl and amino groups on the serine headgroups. This uniform negative charge density provides an advanced biomimetic interface that exhibits high sensitivity to divalent cations, which can induce structural membrane folding, phase separation, or vesicle fusion.
