Description
These calcium phosphate (CaP) surface-modified drug-loaded nanoparticles (Calcium phosphate (CaP) surface-modified drug-loaded nanoparticles) feature a core carrier particle enclosed within an inorganic calcium phosphate outer crystalline layer. The composition blends the properties of the inner organic or polymeric core with the excellent chemical buffer capacity of the calcium phosphate outer crust. It exhibits pH-dependent dissolution characteristics where the inorganic shell dissolves rapidly under mildly acidic conditions.
