Dorzolamide HCL, insoluble in DMSO and ethanol and soluble in water, is an effective metabolism inhibitor, that has the ability to prevent the pathway of cell metabolism by inhibiting carbonic anhydrase. The molecular weight of the compound is 360.9, and its molecular formula is C10H17ClN2O4S3. It targets the Carbonic anhydrase I, Carbonic anhydrase II and Carbonic anhydrase IV.
