Description

These gold nanoparticles are surface-modified with carboxylic acid groups, providing a strong negative surface charge and excellent water dispersibility. The carboxyl groups serve as reactive handles for covalent conjugation with amine-containing molecules via carbodiimide chemistry. They are highly resistant to aggregation in moderate ionic strength laboratory buffers.
