Description
Carboxyl-functionalized magnetic nanoparticles consist of iron oxide cores surface-modified with carboxylic acid ligands. This structure ensures excellent colloidal stability in aqueous media and provides a high density of reactive sites for covalent coupling with amino-terminated molecules via carbodiimide chemistry.
