Description

This formulation represents carboxymethyl chitosan-coated medium-chain fatty acid nanoliposomes (CMC-MCFA NLs) possessing a core-shell structural architecture. The core consists of low-molecular-weight nanoliposomes that encapsulate liquid medium-chain fatty acids within their lipid framework. The outer shell is physically coated with a layer of the hydrophilic polymer carboxymethyl chitosan via electrostatic interactions. This polymer shell significantly increases the surface viscosity and physical stability of the colloidal suspension.
