Description

This advanced engineered tracking formulation features carboxymethyl dextran modified liposomes (CMD-LPs). The structural framework consists of a high-purity phospholipid vesicle core whose exterior boundary is completely enveloped by a covalently bound outer layer of the anionic polysaccharide carboxymethyl dextran (CMD) linked via lipid headgroup anchors. This polysaccharide modification introduces a highly negative surface potential and establishing a dense hydrophilic steric brush layer that completely prevents physical vesicle aggregation, shielding the lipid core across highly variable laboratory ionic strengths.
