Description
These casein-curcumin drug-loaded nanoparticles (Casein-curcumin drug-loaded nanoparticles) are fabricated through the hydrophobic self-assembly of natural milk phosphoproteins in aqueous solutions. The micelle-like structure effectively locks the highly hydrophobic polyphenol compound within its dense hydrophobic inner core domains. It significantly prevents the rapid hydrolytic degradation and light-induced cleavage of curcumin when stored under ambient laboratory conditions.
