Low-molecular-weight chitosan can be used in pharmaceuticals and biomedicine. It has potential as a drug delivery carrier, wound healing agent, and in regenerative medicine due to its biocompatibility and bioactive properties. And its viscosity is 20-300 cP, 1 wt. % in 1% acetic acid.
