Description

This advanced composite formulation features chitosan-modified L-asparaginase liposomes. The structural framework consists of a high-purity phospholipid vesicle core encapsulating the macromolecular amidohydrolase enzyme L-asparaginase, whose exterior boundary is completely enveloped by an electrostatically bound outer layer of the natural polysaccharide polymer chitosan. This surface modification introduces a highly positive surface charge profile and establishes a dense hydrophilic steric layer around the lipid headgroups, which increases membrane thickness and shields the internal peptide chains from premature chemical hydrolysis in laboratory setups.
