This composite material consists of aligned or bundled carbon nanotubes integrated with a continuous gold phase. The combination of CNTs and gold results in a wire with exceptional mechanical strength, high electrical conductivity, and significant resistance to oxidation. The CNT network provides a lightweight framework, while the gold ensures low contact resistance and high current-carrying capacity.
