Description

This product consists of coenzyme Q10 proliposomes formulated as a solid-state dry powder precursor matrix to enhance the dispersion of a highly lipophilic benzoquinone compound. The microarchitecture features a water-soluble carbohydrate carrier network uniformly coated with a layer of dehydrated phospholipids and cholesterol alongside the active agent coenzyme Q10 (ubiquinone). This dry configuration completely prevents the hydrolytic degradation, premature vesicle aggregation, and rapid drug crystallization that typically affects liquid formulations during extended laboratory storage. Upon standard hydration with an aqueous phase, the matrix dissolves instantly, allowing the lipid components to spontaneously self-assemble into a uniform suspension of sub-micron vesicles.
