Description
Cordyceps sinensis is an entomopathogenic fungus (a fungus that grows on insects) in the family Ophiocordycipitaceae. It parasitizes larvae of ghost moths and produces a fruiting body which used to be valued as a herbal remedy and in traditional Chinese medicine.
Cordyceps sinensis extract was extracted from the mycelium of Ophiocordyceps sinensis. It has the functions of treating asthma, treating allergic rhinitis, anti-aging, anti-weaknes and strengthening the body's immunity.
