Description

This specialized formulation features cyclosporine loaded flexible nanoliposomes (also known as transfersomes). The sub-micron vesicle architecture self-assembles from high-purity phosphatidylcholine lipids blended with a precise molecular fraction of single-chain membrane edge activators (such as sodium cholate or polysorbate 80), which incorporates the highly hydrophobic cyclic peptide cyclosporine directly within its highly fluid hydrocarbon core. This specialized combination dramatically lowers the membrane bending elastic modulus, establishing an ultra-deformable vesicle shell that accommodates the bulky cyclic peptide without inducing crystallographic phase separation or precipitation under ambient laboratory testing conditions.
