Description

This hybrid formulation features deoxyspergualin nanoparticle-loaded liposomes designed as a core-shell polymer-lipid composite reference matrix. The internal structure consists of rigid polymer nanoparticle cores encapsulating the synthetic immunosuppressive agent deoxyspergualin, which are completely enclosed within a self-assembled outer matrix shell of a high-purity phospholipid bilayer. This configuration combines the high mechanical strength and controlled ester or amide linkage hydrolysis of the polymer core with the biomimetic interface and lower surface energy of a lipid vesicle shell, protecting the deoxyspergualin structure from rapid hydrolytic degradation. The resulting hybrid nanostructures exhibit high colloidal stability and a highly uniform spherical morphology.
