Properties
Description
These enzyme-sensitive amphiphilic polyester drug-loaded nanoparticles (Enzyme-sensitive amphiphilic polyester drug-loaded nanoparticles) are assembled from synthetic block copolymers containing specific enzyme-cleavable ester linkages. The structure spontaneously forms core-shell micelles in aqueous media with a hydrophobic polyester core and a hydrophilic outer corona. It maintains complete structural integrity until it encounters specific biocatalytic enzymes that hydrolyze the backbone and trigger immediate cargo release.
