Description

This highly complex biomimetic hybrid formulation features erythrocyte membrane-coated triptolide-celastrol co-loaded liposomes. The structural matrix incorporates a combined hydrophobic regimen containing both the diterpenoid trioxide triptolide and the pentacyclic triterpenoid celastrol directly within the hydrocarbon core of a phospholipid bilayer, whose exterior surface is completely enveloped by a self-assembled outer layer of native erythrocyte membrane fragments. This complex cellular shell introduces native membrane proteins, antigens, and glycans onto the synthetic matrix, preventing competitive phase separation of the dual cargo and maintaining high colloidal stability in laboratory media.
