Description

This specialized tracking formulation features fluorescein isothiocyanate labeled adriamycin liposomes (FITC-labeled ADR liposomes). The structural matrix incorporates the hydrophilic hydrochloride salt of the anthracycline adriamycin (ADR, also commonly known as doxorubicin) within its central aqueous core via an active ammonium sulfate gradient, whose exterior polar interface is fluorescently tagged with fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC). This green fluorophore modification introduces a net negative surface potential and distinct optical tracking parameters, restricting the passive leakage of the anthracycline cargo while providing a clear visual trace for analytical mapping.
