Fluorouracil thermosensitive in situ hydrogels are temperature-responsive scaffolds containing a molecular payload. The composition features a block copolymer matrix that exists as a liquid at room temperature but solidifies into a gel upon exposure to 37掳C. The structure is designed to investigate the elution of fluorouracil from a rapidly forming polymer depot.
