Description
This formulation features flurbiprofen axetil liposomes engineered to incorporate a prodrug ester within a stable vesicle matrix. The structural matrix embeds the hydrophobic non-steroidal anti-inflammatory prodrug flurbiprofen axetil directly within the lipophilic hydrocarbon tail regions of a high-purity phospholipid-cholesterol bilayer shell. This configuration prevents rapid chemical hydrolysis of the prodrug ester link in open laboratory media, maintaining high colloidal stability via optimized lipid packing constraints.
