Glc(α1-6)Glc(α1-6)Glc-onic is a trisaccharide aldonic acid. It consists of three glucose residues linked by α1-6 bonds (an isomaltotriose structure) where the glucose at the reducing end has been oxidized to gluconic acid, often formed during the enzymatic oxidation of dextrans.
