Properties
Description
Glutathione-functionalized gold nanorods (GSH-AuNRs) are rod-shaped gold nanoparticles whose surfaces are passivated by a stable, covalently bound monolayer of glutathione tripeptides. The composition features an abundant distribution of accessible carboxylic acid and primary amine terminals extended away from the gold surface. This product exhibits excellent colloidal stability in aqueous media and a highly responsive surface charge that fluctuates according to solution pH.
