Description

This formulation consists of gold nanoparticle-liposome composite nanoparticles (AuNP-LPs) that combine inorganic and organic materials. The structural design features metallic gold nanoparticles securely anchored to either the inner aqueous core or the outer surface of a phospholipid vesicle. This configuration allows for the close pairing of the plasmonic properties of gold with the structural flexibility of lipid membranes. The composite structure is optimized to prevent the irreversible aggregation of the metallic cores.
