These scaffolds consist of a poly(l-lactic acid) (plla) and polycaprolactone (pcl) fiber network that can be used for seeding human periodontal ligament fibroblasts (hpdlf) in non-clinical laboratory studies. the plla component provides structural rigidity while the pcl adds necessary flexibility to simulate the mechanical environment of connective tissues. the resulting fibrous topography is designed to influence cellular orientation and attachment mechanisms in material science experiments.
