Description
Hyaluronic acid methacryloyl (HAMA) hydrogels are modified glycosaminoglycan systems with excellent water-binding properties. The composition consists of hyaluronic acid chains modified with methacrylic anhydride for covalent crosslinking. The structure is highly porous and can be engineered to exhibit varying degrees of viscoelasticity.
