Description
This hybrid material features unique hydroxyapatite-coated magnetic drug-loaded nanoparticles engineered with a distinct multi-layered inorganic configuration. The core structure consists of superparamagnetic iron oxide crystals surrounded thoroughly by a crystalline calcium phosphate shell layer. This unique composition combines the excellent magnetic response properties of the core with the high adsorption capacity of the outer hydroxyapatite surface.
