Description

This complex biomimetic formulation features indocyanine green labeled hemoglobin liposomes designed as an oxygen-carrier tracking model. The macromolecular architecture consists of a stable phospholipid vesicle shell encapsulating high concentrations of the multi-subunit oxygen-transport metalloprotein hemoglobin entirely within its central aqueous core, while concurrently incorporating the near-infrared tricarboxylic dye indocyanine green (ICG) into its internal phase boundaries.
