Description

This highly advanced multi-phase system features cyclic arginylglycylaspartic acid peptide targeted drug-loaded liposome-microbubble complexes (iRGD-targeted drug-loaded liposome-microbubble complexes). The complex framework consists of lipid-stabilized gaseous microbubbles (composed of perfluorocarbon gases) whose outer monolayer shell is electrostatically or covalently complexed with sub-micron drug-loaded phospholipid vesicles, dual-modified with specific cyclic arginylglycylaspartic acid (iRGD) targeting peptides. This complex assembly coordinates a dense target-mimetic ligand array with the high acoustic resonance parameters of a gas core and the micro-encapsulation barrier of a lipid bilayer, completely preventing gas dissolution while providing an advanced reference standard for mechanical fluid mapping.
