α-L-Fucosidase from microorganism is a hydrolase that specifically catalyzes the hydrolysis of the α-L-fucose glycosidic bond, releasing fucose and the corresponding glycosidic ligand.

One unit will release 1 μmol of methyl umbelliferone from 4- methyl umbelerone α-l-fucosides per min at 37°C and pH 6.0.
Applications
α-L-Fucosidase from microorganism can be used as a marker for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).
