Description

This product consists of linseed oil proliposomes formulated as a dry, free-flowing solid particulate matrix. The microarchitecture features an inert water-soluble carbohydrate carrier coated with a uniform layer of dehydrated phospholipids and neutral lipid fractions from linseed oil. This solid-state design prevents the rapid oxidative degradation of the highly unsaturated alpha-linolenic acid chains during extended storage. Upon the addition of an aqueous buffer, the powder rapidly hydrates and self-assembles into stable nanoscale liposomes.
