Description

This standard formulation features natural liver phosphatidylcholine (Liver PC) and cholesterol (Chol) blended in an optimized 70:30 molar ratio. The vesicular architecture uses biological, high-purity liver phosphatidylcholine to establish a fluid liquid-crystalline lipid bilayer matrix at room temperature, while the addition of 30 mol% cholesterol acts as a fluidity modulator that fills the gaps between the diverse natural acyl chains. This structural integration increases the mechanical rigidity of the membrane, elevates the electrical breakdown resistance of the boundary, and significantly reduces the passive diffusion of water-soluble molecules from the internal aqueous reservoir.
